You say you don’t know what to do
Where to go
Who to date
But you do

You say it is complicated
Entangled
Confusing
Yet, it is not 

Follow the thread of your aliveness
It won’t lead you astray
Follow the light in your heart
It will only grow more brightly 

What lights you up?
What turns you on?
What makes you drool?
Thirsty for more? 

What makes your cells
Jump up in pleasure?
That is your zone of genius
That’s where your purpose is housed 

There is no searching
Just unpacking
No pushing
Just trusting

And yes, this path is tender
It is vulnerable
It is brave
It is rebellious
For when you actually go for what you truly desire
All is at stake

And once you think you may have found it
The thread will bend
And you will follow
Over and over again

A constant re-birth
There is no certainty
There is only trust
That is the path

You will want to run
Hide
Go back to comfort!
To living semi-alive!
But you won’t
Because your untapped genius will keep knocking on your door
‘HELLO, HELLO! I’m right here! LET ME OUT! LET ME LIVE!’

All the great poets and thinkers and artists and revolutionists have done it
They took the plunge
They walked through the resistance
The stickiness
The conditioning
The external expectations
The judgement 
Wiped off the mud
cracked their heart open to offer their gift to others
And so will you

It may feel scary
Turn towards it anyway
The world needs your aliveness, not you in your semi-purpose.

Hurl yourself into your radiance, share your full blazing light with the world, let your inner fire crack your soul open to your inner aliveness. Follow it and it will start to make sense. I promise. Write it, make love to it, dance it, scream it, make art out of it, speak it..
